Magouyrk says AI is not creating new vulnerabilities but is surfacing long-accumulated flaws in existing systems more quickly.

AI is helping identify security problems accumulated over decades; it is not creating new vulnerabilities but finding flaws already hidden in systems faster.

Magouyrk says building data centers at this scale is inherently complex and delays are normal, not alarming.

Building large construction projects of this scope is complicated, and I think anyone that goes into those projects without assuming that they're going to be complicated is sadly mistaken.

Magouyrk argues memory and wafer fab capacity, not power availability, are the real limits on AI compute buildout.

There is only so much memory in the world. There is only so much wafer fab. I think everybody who spends time thinking about how much power is coming online is missing the point. I think you can actually look at how much memory is being produced and how much fabrication capacity is, and that is a much clearer sample of how much you could put in, because we do not need power without chips.

Magouyrk does not foresee GPU oversupply relative to demand over the next three to five years.

People are like, ‘But what if somehow we are able to build just so many more GPUs than there is demand for?’. I just do not see that. Not for the timeline that I feel like I can confidently have some perspective on over the next three to five years. I do not see it happening.

Magouyrk says gigawatt campuses suit training while growing inference will run on mid-sized 50-200MW sites, so a mix of sizes will persist.

I actually think that the gigawatt scale campuses make a lot of sense for training workloads, because you need to be able to harness all of that capacity in one area. But as you see inferencing get larger and larger and larger, inferencing is not going to be 2MW sites everywhere, but we're delivering a lot of 50MW, 100MW, 200MW sites.

Magouyrk says AI is the new normal for computing, not a fad, with immense demand across big players, start-ups and enterprises.

This is not a fad. When mini-computers came along, people didn't ask, ‘But what about the punch cards?’. The reality is this is the new normal for computing, and the demand for it is immense because it has a fundamentally different capability than we've seen before.
